Fool Moon

This is another noir, detective, magic story. I read it after we came back from vacation. It was a light read, entertaining, with absolutely nothing in it that relates to my life at all. Sometimes its nice to get away so completely, even if it is in your head.

This one had werewolves in it, which usually I avoid because they tend to be bloody. This one was medium in that respect. Though it is obvious that the author has done his research, he lists all kinds of different werewolves in mythology and what their aspects are. It is nice to read a casual novel, one that isn't meant to convey deep themes and emotions, that nevertheless has some work and craftsmanship in it.
